Title: Stirling MI Look-up pre 1855

Trying to find a death/grave for Duncan KEIR (abt 1770). I have him on 1841 with wife & family. He dies between 1841 & 1851. (address for 1841 is 18 Easter Garchell, Drymen, Stirling). Don't know what other info may be needed.  His wife was Janet STEWART (b - 9/may/1792), married 8/JAN/1820

I have the following MI from Buchlyvie Churchyard in Stirlingshire!

Duncan Keir late farmer Ward 1.11.1851 age 80, wife Janet Stewart 13.6.1865 age 74 , son Alex Lochore 25.10.1880 age 55, son Duncan 27.11.1888 age 66 ( Wife Lillias McKenzie 5.7.1904 age 78)

In the MI book it is the stone is next to and resembling number 15,

Stone 15: Finlay Keir 17.5.1850 age 77 wife Barbra Morrison 29.5.1853 age 83, son finlay 23.2.1858 age 46

Hope the above is of some help, if I can look up any more MI pre 1855 for West Stirlingshire just ask.

Many, many thanks for that info. It certainly looks like my family (names seem to match). Haven't done any research for a while as I hit a brick wall. You have given me a bit more information than I could find.
