I am interested in anyone who ran this pub during the 1940's - how would I go about finding this information.   Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes that thought had occured to me, but Directorys are a bit and miss as to what dates I could get, and I am not sure that the Landlord's name would be listed.

There are Kelly's Direcorties for Herefordshire and also for just Hereford around that date.
I think the licensee will be listed.
