Hi there,
Since Susan has kindly provided Joshua's birth and the 1851 census details, here's a list of Joshua's siblings, in birth order;
George, christened 22nd March 1842 Tarves
Mary Ann, christened 15th March 1848 Tarves
Isabella, christened 8th March 1850 Tarves
William, christened 26th October 1852
John, christened 18th August 1854 Tarves
Ann, born 14th November 1856 Tarves
James, born 31st December 1858 Tarves
Douglas, born 2nd September 1861 Tarves
Gordon, born 4th November 1863 Methlick
Quite a big family! I can't find a marriage for William and Ann, but there may be a date for it on one of their later children's birth certificates. All certificates from 1855 had this information (a lot more on the starting year) so either Ann, James, Douglas or Gordon's should help you out with a date. :)
Hope this is useful,

Hi
If you have a look on www.abdnet.co.uk/mi-index/ you'll find Joshua and Agnes' grave listed in Tarves Kirkyard. I stay quite near so I can have a wander up and grab a photo if you like.
Cheers

Thanks so much Gary for your interest and info. You are so kind to offer to take a photo and I thank you. However I have aunts and uncles and cousins in Tarves and they can take photo's so you won't have to go out of your way. Many thanks.

Hi, my name is Kathleen and my ancestry line goes up through Agnes Paul . . . do you have/need any information on that side?

Hello Kathleen,
I am delighted to hear from you. I have a little info on Agnes Paul but not much. I have her parents and all of her siblings and of course, her children. Her husband Joshua, was my GG Grandfather. He had a child, Anne, my G Grandmother out of wedlock and he brought her up. I don't know if Agnes Paul was her mother or not. Anne was born the same year that Joshua and Agnes married so it is possible. Perhaps you may shed some light on this subject?
Thank you so much for getting in touch.

Gail,
I have Joshua/Agnes' marriage cert (married in 1868) and Ann's birth cert (born 1877) -- so I don't know that the dates you have are correct. . . was Ann born in 1877? If so, Agnes is her mother -- I can send you copies of what I have (along with a listing of other ancestors) if you forward me your email address. For some reason, I can't add an image here and the images are password protected online. How exciting to have made a connection!!
