Title: Hutchins of Barnes Surrey
Post by: gladstone on Friday 06 July 07 23:38 BST (UK)
The Hutchins family were resident in  Barnes, Surrey from at least 1740. William [ died 1771] and his wife had the following children: Aaron, John, Elizabeth, George and Sarah. Only John and Elizabeth married. John to Elizabeth? and his sister, Elizabeth to Timothy Raikes.

Need to know more about the early Hutchins eg William and his marriage to ???? and his parents - possibly Richard and Martha.

The married children and their cousins spread from Barnes to Richmond to Kensington to Earls Court to St Clement Danes.

Have searched the National Burial Index and had a positive return, also checked the documents on line sources with equally fruitful results but need help from a Surrey based kind soul who can do a bit of nosing around in early Barnes parish records for the Hutchins family.

With much appreciation

Gladstone

Hi Gladstone

I was unable to find the marriage of William on the Surrey Marriage Index and the only Hutchins marriage I could see was a James Hutchings to Mary Ann Jefferyes at Barnes on 3.3.1823.  She was from South Chiswick.

Couldn't see a marriage for Richard and Martha either  :-\
