Elizabeth Caunt bp 1815 Balderton,
Mary Caunt bp 1817 Balderton,

Well I see them on the IGI loud and clear
daughters of William & Mary Caunt
but can't find hide nor hair of 'em on the 1841
By 1841 Elizabeth was 26, Mary was 24, Eleanor 16, Sarah 21
All old enough to be married or in service.
Have you found the parents on the 1841 or 1851 ?
Any more clues ?
Found a marroage for a Sarah Caunt - 1842 and a Mary Caunt 1843
More info would help

Thank you for your reply. I have the baptisms from the PR's in Nottinghamshire, also the marriages of the sisters all in the Salford area, Lancashire.
The parents are on their own in Gorton, part of Manchester for 1841 census. It is where are the girls living and working at the 1841 census time.
The 1851 census for part of Salford is missing. I have details of the girls and parents later.
Regards,
Megran.

Hi,
Thank you for your response. Trying to fill a gap re the four sisters, haven't been able to find them on the 1841 census yet, always hopefull. William and Mary had six sons as well as the four daughters. One son Robert is still rather a mystery.
Many thanks,
Megran.

Hi Ruth,
Do you happen to have any census details (1841) for Mary, Sarah & Eleanor Caunt. Possibly a variation of the name or transcription error. Could be any area.

Megran.
