Hi All
Just thought I would offer to look at any records for those of you that may have ancestors in Broken Hill. I will be here for the next 6 months and will be happy to try and find any resources that we might have at our Family History Centre here. We have old school photos, mine records, and some newspaper records plus more.
So if you have anything let me know and I will try and find it for you.
Cheers
Andrea ;)

Hi Andrea
I have a Sarah Ann Reid or Smith/Smyth b.1883 in Sth Aust, daughter of Catherine Reid. She was the partner/wife of George Friedrich Loni SCHULTZ/SCHULZ/SCHOLZ born 1876 in SA, parents Carl & Amalia Caroline Schulz.
Would you mind checking to see if there is a marriage recorded in Broken Hill for this couple. It's possible the marriage could have been after the births of the children?
I believe they had 2 sons Frederick b.1904 Broken Hill and Rupert b.1905 Broken Hill. Rupert was supposed to have died when he was about 4. Would you mind checking that as well for me.
Appreciate anything you can find, thanks for your kind offer - Sashar

Hi Andrea,
If you get a chance could you check on my SNOOK family for me please.
William Snook & his daughter Rose M Snook (infant/small child) both died in Broken Hill in 1893. I guess newspapers would be out of the question - as I dont have the cert's & so no exact dates. But if you see the Snook name as you're researching - I'm interested,
