I am desperately looking for any scrap of info on a John Doran who married either a Joan/Jean Quinn or a Helen Lee. They went on to have a John Doran sometime around 1869 but we are unsure as to whether or not he was born in England or Ireland.
I have found marriage and death certifcates on young John but not his birth certificate - Joan or Jean Quinn was listed as his Mother on his marriage cert but on his death cert his mother is listed as being a Helen Lee.
Both John senior and junior were Seaman and Quay Labourers. Although I know John Junior moved to Glasgow and is listed on a 1891 and 1901 census with his Wife Catherine Kerr/Carr I cannot find info on his father or mother!
