Researching the followlling family from Stapelton, Bristol circa

George Smith / Sarah Smith ( nee Hooper) and their children

George, Ada, Frank, Lillian and Amy

You are right that researching SMITH in Gloucestershire isn't easy - I have a few myself.

You might make it easier for us if you give us some dates & tell us what you already know (and therefore what you are hoping to find)

Researching the followlling family from Stapelton, Bristol circa

George Smith born, 1841 Box, Wiltshire/ Sarah Smith ( nee Hooper) born 1835 Congersbury, Somerset,  and their children

Frank     1868  Weston Super-Mare, Somerset
George  1870  Weston Super-Mare, Somerset
Ada        1872  Stapleton, Bristol
Lillian     1876  Stapleton, Bristol
Amy       1880  Stapleton, Bristol

This family lived in Stapleton between 1871 and 1901.
George was employed as Nurserman and Gardener and Frank as a gardeners boy.

Frank left the West Country around 1899 for London
