Hi
Trying to find any info on Blaikie (sometimes Blackie) family in Peebles. Edith Blaikie was head Grocer Bridge End in 1881 census. She was widow of Thomas Blaikie. My maiden name was Blaikie.
Thanks

Just came across the Postings re Peebles 1906, I have a old friend who has compiled all the shop keepers in Innerleithen as far back as he can obtain the records I will ask him for the info you were asking about, you could also try on the www.freecen.org.uk website for the census info available.
