Any info at all regarding my maternal grandfather William Henry Burns' marriage to my grandmother Mary Ann Hartley. Willliam was born around 1864ish/Mary Ann was born March 27 1877ish. My mother Mary Agnes Burns was born at number 2 Brunswick Street Salford, on 13 September 1910 but I think it was the home of a relative as my grandfather's address on the birth certificate was number 10 Brunswick Street. We have some info on my grandmother's family, the Hartleys, but none at all on William Henry Burns. On my parents' marriage certificate it has William's occupation as Calico printer journeyman. My parents, Mary Agnes Burns and Sidney Young married on 11 September 1939, by which time William was deceased. I know my grandmother Mary Ann died around 1950, but no idea when William died. I know my Uncle, Thomas Burns died aged 21 in 1917 in the first world war, but not much else. My late mother's siblings are now all deceased. Any info on the William Henry Burns ancestry would be greatly appreciated. William Henry and Mary Ann had 6 children in all(I'm not aware of any others if there were any, but I'm pretty certain these are all the children). Thomas, James, Margaret, Catherine(Katherine), Theresa and Mary Agnes(my mother). Help! Anyone!
Kind regards
Mary Young

Hi Tricia. Thanks for your message. We do have that extract at Junction Street, thanks, but are you related to these Burns/Hartley's? It would be absolutely fantastic if you are. I now know that William Henry Burns died in 1914, not in the war though. Apparently he was ill. Other connections to the Burns/Hartleys are William Hartley and Mary Ellen Hartley nee Looney/ my maternal great-grandparents. Thanks again for your message. Look forward to your reply.
God bless
Mary
