Title: Obituary

I am looking for an Obituary for my great grandfather John Heap who died in 1908.  He was Chairman of Tintwistle RDC 1901-1903.
As Tintwistle was 'moved' into Derbyshire when Greated Manchester was formed it's difficult to know where to look  :-\

Tintwistle only became a part of Derbyshire in 1974, and i dont recall seeing any articles on the area in old Derbyshire papers, so i would guess its Cheshire you want, unless Glossop area papers covered the area.

Thanks Alvaston - I used to live in Mottram and our local news was always in the Glossop Chronicle (I have on from 1962 which covered my wedding, the house prices are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
