Hi :)
I've k=juts found your 10 year old post about how you were researching the Leah family of Stockport. I am in Australia and I am doing the same :) I have an Elizabeth Ramscar who marries a Leah (possibly a William Leah who dies in 1838) and has 2 children, Mary Ann Leah (not sure on her birth date, perhaps 1825?) and Joseph Leah (1823). She then marries a Scot, Andrew Dearing in 1838. Any of mine match with yours?
Cheers and Happy New Year from Melbourne.

Thanks heatherjulie, I have come to many of the same conclusions as you today, just never 'sure' that one Elizabeth is 'my' Elizabeth :) That is a great help. And norfolkgal if you do read this, are we related?? :)
