This is a request for a member on another forum, can you help

I,ve been trying to find out about my grandad Patrick Lavelle. He was born in Ireland but I'm not sure where in 1891. He married Bridget O'Hanlon in Liverpool at St Vincents on 20/08/13 and died in Fazakerley Isolation Hospital from blood poisoning thre result of anthrax infection on 1/4/1925 aged 34. I've tried to get a birth certificate but Dublin Records can't help as I don't know his date of birth. I know it's a long shot but can anyone help me out?

Does your friend have his grandad's marriage cert., as this should give his father's name and occupation, which may be helpful.
