I am a direct descendant of Francis Weatherley.  He is my Great, Great, Great Grandfather.
My grandmother was Francis Corlina Weatherley, her mother was Lena Jane Weatherley, her father was John Weatherley, son of Frances.
I would love to find out more about him and his family.

Hello Robert. I am a direct descendant of Francis and Elizabeth through their youngest child, James. He was my mothers paternal grandfather. Tell me what you want to know and I will look up my notes.(can't rely on memory anymore!!)

Hi Marg.
I have a few details about John Weatherley but not much on any of his brothers or sisters.
Do you have any information on Francis as well ?
Cheers.

Hi Marg.
I forgot to mention that John Weatherley married Matilda Hadley from Emu Creek in Vic.
Her father John Hadley was also a convict sent out from Wolverhampton in 1842 for stealing a silk handkerchief when he was 19 years old.

Hi Sorry I have been off the air for a while, moving house and other things. Richard as Marg has said I am a direct descendant of Francis and Elizabeth. My GGrandfather being James Weatherley.
I may have a photo of Lena, she seemed to be close to Sara Weatherley who was my Grandmothers half sister.
I live not far from you. Hope this helps a little. I would inbox you but have forgotten how to do it. Will come back in tomorrow and try again. Clare

This is quite eerie, I made friends with a descendant of John Weatherley and Matilda Hadley yesterday, tonight I go searching and find you Richard, descendant of John and Matilda. The other person lives in Queensland. You both go back to Francis and Elizabeth. A couple of Weatherley girls and I have started corresponding again this week. I think all this was meant to be. Cheers Clare
