Was wondering if anyone would have access or advice look up for an address in Stratford West ham please.
I have just found a new lead on my family, Joseph and Elizabeth Kate Jane Holley living in 30 Station Street Stratford West ham in 1895, wondered if anyone would know if this was a boarding house or private accomodation?
Thank you for any help, I know Joseph was an actor / vocalist and travelled around alot so was wondering if this is where Elizabeth lived or if they lodged here.
Regards

Hello, Liz.
I have not found the Holley family in either the 1891 or the 1901 census but I can tell you that they were not at this address in either of these censuses.
30, Station St., Stratford, housed 2 families & all the houses in the street appear to be normal dwelling houses with one or two families, but you can see that the Farmer family took in boarders so perhaps the Holleys were transient boarders only staying a short while.
1891 census
RG12/1311 folio 6 page 15
30, Station St Stratford WH
Elizabeth Farmer head W. age 56 b Willenhall Staffs
Alice G dau age 22 Cotten Weaver Aston Manor. Warks
Walter H age 21 Dock Lab b ditto
Robert Menan age 35 Engine Driver b Stifford, Essex
William Howell age 2 grdson b Silvertown
Mary Brown head Mar age 35 b Blackfriars London
Christian dau age 10 b Holloway
Alice dau age 1 b ditto
1901 census
Rg13/1565 folio 105 page 16
30 Station St, Stratford WH
Eliabeth Farmer W age 66 b Willenhall
4, Boarders
Hope this helps
