I don't think there is any such product so you may have a trojan, which is a fake anti-spyware program which is urging you to buy another fake program such an anti-virus product.

I can't find a specific cure for removing this annoying program, but I have found a reference to it and someone has described the symptoms:

raa,
this looks like a particularly unpleasant Trojan.  I've recently helped my brother get rid of another similar problem by using this:
http://www.simplysup.com/

You can download a full version of the program which then allows a free 30 day 'evaluation' period.  My brother downloaded and ran this, and it cleaned up his system a treat.

Good luck.

For decent anti-virus software you can buy a full copy of McAfee Antivirus Suite on CD from here:

raa,

I think you may find the answer to your pop up question here:

Regarding winantivirus2007, I believe Spybot S&D detects and (presumably) removes it.  It is free too!

 :D

You remind me of Groucho Marx.

"A three year old child could understand this.  Hey you, run out and get me a three year old child, I can't make head nor tail of it."

I was merely reminded of a line from Groucho.  Shrewdly apt in the case of computers, where children can often deal with them easier than anyone else.  It was not a personal attack but a general jest.  I'm sorry you took offence.
