Hi Geoff,

I've had a look in Staffs and nothing obvious - to help widen the search how old do you expect them to be and would they have any children?

Thanks,
Pam

Hi Pam, thanks for your efforts, Peter would be 41, Catherine 40, offspring would be Catherine 6, William 4 and Christina 2.
If they are not in Staffordshire might be in Lancashire or Lanarkshire!! They got about.

I've tried to find every member of the family with no luck.  I can only guess that they are transcribed strangely and a far clever chatter will find them  :-[

OR they are in Lanarkshire.  The 1871 for Scotland is a pay per view service on http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/

All the best,
Pam
