Title: STABLES in Holleth c. 1812 to 1825 ?
Post by: bbriann on Sunday 17 June 07 10:22 BST (UK)
Hi everyone,... After a break,  I'm back with silly questions.   Any assistance would be appreciated.
William Stables and his wife Agnes  apparently resided in HOLLETH   nr Cockerham,  somerwhere within the years 1812  to  1825.
We assume this because of the births of their children in Holleth and chr. in Cockerham.   They were  Charles ,  William  and Thomas.
Information is hard to come by,  ???     so any snippet would be welcome.      Thanks    Brian

Hi Brian.

Boyd's marriage index has this marriage:

Wm Stables to Agn Wilcock at Cockerham 1812

I see now that you probably know that - it's on the IGI but William is down as STUBLES.

G'day,      thanks for the swift response.

Stubles,  I knew about this,    but the Lancashire Quarter Sessions  is very good info,  and may allow a follow-up.
Thanks again.... Brian.
