Hi,
I was just doing some research into my own family tree when I came across this posting! I too am related to the Duncan's who are buried at Malin Presbyterian Church! My grandfather is Cecil Duncan, who I think was the grandson of John Duncan (who died 1922).
I don't know if this posting is still active, but if so, please get in touch.
Kind regards,
Dave

Hi Hope you have better luck than me,I have great trouble in finding out who my Grandfather James Duncan was all I know about him is his name & that he died around the 1930-1940. I Know his first wife died about 1901-1903 he had a son called John & a daughter called Mary or Minnie who went to the U.S.A.around 1930. he had more children by my granny Who was Hannah Doherty from Mailnhead.I do know he attended the Presbyterian in Malin. What I am trying to find out who his mother & father were & if he had any siblings.

Hi Magie,
possible his father was also James Duncan of Culoort who was definitely Presbyterian. If so mother was Ellen (RC).

Hello
While doing research into my Mclaughlin ancestors from Ballagh I have found the land they lived on was owned by George Duncan.
George died in 1865 and his land passed to his son John Duncan.
I have some information on the family and would love to hear from anyone who is interested.
