Hi everyone,
Would someone be kind enough to enhance the attached photo of my G/Grandfather.
The facial features are not very clear and it is the only one of him.
Thanks in anticipation, jackh

Hi jackh
Hope this is an improvement

Hi JackH

Hi,
Mudge, genie.fan, Alan, Jim, jc, Thank you all so very much. I would not have thought it possible to bring Thomas's features out so clearly. 100 years after the photo was taken you can see what he looked like again.
Greatly appreciated, jackh

Hi jackh
Just 2 slight variations on jc's excellent closeup, after playing around for a while with filters, effects and enhancements ;) ;)
(Thanks for the loan jc, do you think we will ever set up in competition to the recent Caz & Poll amalgamation ??? ??? ;D ;D ;D ;D)
Hope you like it
Mudge

Well we could Mudge... ;D ;D ;D
the close up look smashing framed - I'm not so good on frames yet... Caz and Poll had better watch out :o;) ;) ;) :P

Flippin 'eck Mudge and JC ...if it was a competition I was looking for I'd be training for the Olympics.. not sitting here playing with a graphics programme ! ::) It must be your competitive nature coming out Mudge ! :P :P ::)
-
te he! Poll ;)
Not sure if Mudge and I will fall out over the colourings though........ ::)
jc

Thanks again Mudge, of course a photo needs a frame.

Couldn't have said it better myself Poll. While I know the comments were said in jest, I've said this before, it's not a competition and no place for egos.
Many people pair up on some pics, I've personally teamed up with Mudge, Poll, TT, Di, Jim, Lones and Genie (sorry if I've missed anyone) on past occasions because as they say, two heads are often better than one!
Let's keep it fun folks...leave the competition for the paid professionals!

Hey Poll and Caz I think you're getting too sensitive :-\ :-\
It was a mere tongue in cheek jest, as you acknowledged Caz, not an Olympian challenge :o :o
As far as egos are concerned I am way below your standards and know it, so I have nothing to be egotistic about :( :(
I thought I was keeping it fun, but apparently what is funny to one is not always funny to others :-X :-X
Sorry if I've upset you in any way, it was quite unintentional :'( :'(

Have PM'd you Mudge.

Ooooer Mudge I 'm sure I've seen you practising for the 10 yard wooden spoon dash !! ;D ;D ;)
Or was it the Sepia Restore Challenge Cup !! ;D
I 've been all night going crosseyed at a football on here ..

I think the restore could take me weeks ! Can you make out anything clearer on the Football with your method of cleaning ?
-
Yes Poll I always get the Wooden Spoon :( :( :(
Signals
2nd R W E(?)

As I have been asleep while this has been going on, I would also like to add my apologies to Caz and Poll AND anyone else I may have offended by replying tongue in cheek to Mudge's innocent quip. It was certainly said in light jest with nothing more intended. I totally agree - this is not a race, we are all here because we enjoy doing the restores/colourings and for self improvement.
<quote>Hi Caz, got your PM. Yes lets hope the message gets through to whom it may concern </quote>
Only one other person in this equation :-\ Perhaps its best, for the kind folk who post their photos that this is keep off board and I will be happy to receive a PM from anyone who has an issue.

Hi JC

Thank you George,
Another expert enhancement. From having only one photo of Thomas Pearce I now seem to have a whole gallery. You are all so generous.
