Hi Jo and Chris
Unfortunately, the lady born 1886 in Heckmondwike shown on the 1891 census also appears on the 1901 census as a separate entry from the Sarah that we are seeking. (RG13/4238 Folio 59 Page 23) :-\
The only birth registration for a Sarah Flynn in Leeds from 1882 until 1887 is this one...
1883 Leeds JFM quarter 9b 516 - Sarah Flynn
So we are looking for someone born a bit earlier.

Jo
Have a look at RG12/3708 Folio 45 Page 8 in 1891, there is a Flynn family (which has been transcribed as Glynn) with Sarah aged 7.

Chris
The same family appears on the 1881 census at RG11/4510 Folio 61 Page 17 if you want to have a look yourself whilst you are waiting.
They are transcribed as Flym

Here is the 1881 census in full, to show who the father was...

ps Have a look at this original image if you get the chance. If only all enumerators could have written like this it would make the current task a lot easier.

I hope that some of the above is of use to you.

I see now that you have been busy with Pels on the Lancashire Board. It is no wonder that I could not get any typing done. ;D
