I still can't see anything for Lizzie.
Have you found her in the the previous census? Was she always known as Lizzie, or by the proper name of Elizabeth?
This is a possible birth found on FreeBMD:
Elizabeth Partrige
December Quarter 1867
District: Atcham (which covers Cressage)
Vol: 6a, Page: 602
Have you found the Partridge family in any of the previous census? If not, let me know.
-
Marriage for John and Susan
Marriage March Quarter 1859
John Partridge and on the same page, Susan Partridge or Susan Mullard
District: Atcham
Vol: 6a, Page: 949
Have you got any of the children's birth certificates to confirm Susan's maiden name?
-
Thanks for the info-all vry helpful. The marriage for John and Susan is correct her maiden name was Mullard-I have the marriage certificate for them. I have not as yet got the childrens birth certificates but intend to get them soon. I think the birth for Lizzie is most likely her She is on the 1871 census age 3 but not the 1881 is it possible she had died?
John had a twin sister EMMA I dont know if she married
Johns father was Richard and mother was Elizabeth Marygold on the 1851 census they have children
HANNAH 24 cOUND
EMMA 20 COUND
WINIFRED 30 COUND
I would like details of these on any census
-

You can check for a death by searching the incomplete BMD index at Free BMD (http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl) or the complete version of the index is available to search at Ancestry (http://content.ancestry.co.uk/iexec/?htx=List&dbid=8966&offerid=0%3a7858%3a0). You will have to search year by year, quarter by quarter, and it can take some time but worth it in the end.
Johns father was Richard and mother was Elizabeth Marygold on the 1851 census they have children
Have you got the full reference please so I can have a look?
-
Reference for 1851 CENSUS for RICHARD PARTRIDGE /ELIZABETH MARYGOLD is
HO107/1990
FOLIO 28 p.19
COUND MOOR
I think that is right
-
Thanks vj. I will have a look and see what else I can find for you.
:D :D
-
I would like details of these on any census........WINIFRED 30 COUND

From the 1851 census that you gave me, you can see that Winifred became Mrs Hollins!!! Have you got the full details from the image, if not I can transcribe it for you.
Let me know.

Winifred in 1861
RG9/1861 Folio 35 Page 18

Martha Holland Grandaug 8 Scholar
Mary Ann Holland Grandaug 5 Scholar
Richard Holland Grandson 2
Children all born Salop Cound
The enumerator has written HOLLAND as the surname in 1861, and HOLLINS in 1851......Need a marriage to check which surname is right ;)
-
Winifred in 1871....now we're back to Hollins ;D
RG10/2794 Folio 48 Page 3
Moreton Corbet, Shropshire
William Hollins Head M 45 Ag Lab Staffordshire
Winifred Hollins Wife M 51 Salop Acton Burnell
Mary A Hollins Dau 15 Cound Moor
Richard Hollins Son 12 Cound Moor
Sarah A Hollins Dau 7 Cound Moor
-
Winifred in 1881.....Hollins again, but indexed as Holling :o
RG11/2630 Folio 71 Pag: 3
Hill House, Quatford, Bridgnorth, Shropshire
William Hollins Head Marr 54 Farm Labourer Staffordshire Tixall?
Winifred Hollins Wife Marr 61 Salop Acton Burnell
Mary Ann Boardman Dau Widow 25 Nurse Salop Berrington
Richard Hollins Son Unm 22 Farm Labourer Salop Cound
Sarah Hollins Dau Unm 17 Servant Salop Cound
Henry Boardman 11 months Liverpool
There's no relationship for Henry, although I think we can safely assume that he's Mary Ann's daughter. So, from 1871 to 1881 Mary Ann married a Mr Boardman, moved to Liverpool, had Henry then was widowed.
And....just to confirm:-
Marriages June Quarter 1880
Mary Ann Hollins and James Henry Boardman
District: Liverpool
Vol: 8b, Page: 309
How sad that she was only married such a short time before being widowed.
-
I can't see Winifred in 1891...here's why:
Deaths January Quarter 1888
Winifred Hollins
Age at Death: 67
District: Bridgnorth
Vol: 6a, Page 468

-

I been trying to find Hannah and Emma in the 1861 onwards, but they must have either married or died. There are a couple of possibles for each daughter, but we need to find marriages or death records first.

Name: Richd Partridge
Spouse: Elzth Mariglod
Marriage Date: Jan 1810
Parish: Acton Burnell
I can even view the actual image.....PM me your email address and I'll sent it to you. Don't put your email address on here because it will attract spammers!!
-
Thought I'd post this aswell, don't know if you have it or not -

Yes it would, but to be 100% certain you would need to request the birth certificate to confirm Emma's father (if your budget allows, of course).
You have to be careful that you don't follow the wrong Partridge family........at least you aren't researching Jones :( ;D

HANNAH 24 cOUND (in the 1851)
EMMA 20 COUND (in the 1851)

Unless you are the Partridge who has contacted me recently (living in Broadway), we appear to have some common Partridge ancestry in Shropshire, from John Partridge and Susan Mullard
