Hi,
I have today found out that one of my ancestors surname is Wood. This is Louisa's maiden name.
She was born in 1804 and all the census returns show her as being born in Marylebone. Is it possible for anybody to look this up if they have easy access to the parish registers please?
So that is Louisa Wood born in Marylebone in 1804.
I am also interested to know if anybody can point me to a web site that actually lists all the churches in the districts around London.
There seem to be lots of churches with the same name and it does get confusing.
Thanks
Vince

hi my family De yrujo are connected to St Mary's of Marylebone .
a friend found me a Marylebone baptism for 1794 so i will try and find how they did it but i am sure it was with the lds.family history films.
i have looked for my family for sometime ..born Marylebone1816 and i found on the a2a site that the records for my years 1800-1820 are at the Lma .
i will look it all up and be more precise .
the family then went to st Luke's but that was much later .
if there is anyone out there that knows more detail please share with me to . ;D :D

Hi Vince
There are a few websites which list "London" churches ie. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/hitch/gendocs/churches.html
Westminster archives cover Marylebone and they have some informative information sheets http://www.westminster.gov.uk/libraries/archives/whatwedo.cfm
The East London FHS is good for locating parishes in it's area http://www.eolfhs.org.uk/parish/index.htm
