Title: John Beach - who are his parents?
Post by: Nicky on Saturday 02 June 07 09:14 BST (UK)
I have hit a brick wall (yes another one) with the following and wondered if anyone can help.

I have a John Beach marrying a Sarah James on 2 March 1807, Newland. Children that I know of are Priscilla 1811, Mercy 1814 and Christianna 1818.

I am wanting to try and get back another generation but have had no success in finding out who Johns parents were.

Any help would be very gratefully received.

Nicky

John Beach of Hardwick married in 1775 Priscilla Hawkens 1756-1838. Their son John Beach was born in about 1776 so could have married in 1807 but I have no evidence.

I am looking for Priscilla Beach, a cousin or close relation of Thomas Bailey of Gloucester who had a sister called Priscilla Bailey. I am sure that the Beach and Bailey are closely connected (Quedgeley) but can't yet prove it and the names link.
