Hi All,
I am trying to find Alexander Dawson and his family.
He married Helen Bell 07 December 1829 in Leslie Fife.
Their children that I know of were:
Robert born Leslie Fife 17 July 1830
Alexander born Leslie Fife 13 September 1832
Grizel (Grace) born Alva 23 October 1834
Margaret born Alva 01 May 1837
Isabella born Alva 03 September 1839
Andrew born ?? ?? ??
In 1857 Alexander, his wife Helen and their children Alexander, Isabella and Andrew all came out to Tasmania on the ship the "Broomielaw'.
If anyone could help locate this Dawson, on the 1841 and the 1851 census it would be wonderful.
Kind regards
Wendy

In the 1851 both Alexanders were Woolen Hand loom weavers. Grace was a wool winder and Isabella and Andrew were scholars. They were living at Mid Row, Alva.
