1896 - 2 Oct 1917. He was a Private in 2nd Bn., Royal Warwickshire Regiment
His nephew [Ernest Montague John Pease] died in WW2. His grandfather [James Hill] was a retired soldier and lived at Lord Leycesters Hospital, Warwick until 1899.
I found a lot about him through official records. He is included on the Warwick War Memorial. I would really like to trace a photograph of him or contact his nearest relatives to exchange information.

Hi Bob,
Welcome to RootsChat !! :) :)
David doesn't appear to have been online since Saturday, 23rd January 2010. In the event he won't receive a notification for your reply - I've sent him a personal message on your behalf. Fingers crossed he hasn't changed his email address.
Kindest regards,
Pels.

Thank you for the message.
Its been a useful reminder to log on and check the site.
Have now contacted Robert by Personal Messages.

New users usually need 2/3 posts to use PM system so Bob might not have gotten the message or if he did may not be able to PM you back.

You only had one post when PM was sent to you which is why you are not able to get it. Can you see little green scroll under user names on left side of post yet? if yes then you will be able to get any PMs sent from now on. If not then post 1 more time on this thread and should work.
