Title: Louisa's wedding
Post by: sandym on Sunday 20 May 07 16:39 BST (UK)
I would really like to see what can be done to improve this. The picture's old and faded. What can you achieve, do you think?
Best wishes,
Sandy

Hello Sandy

What a wonderful old photo.  Me being me I always like to know the whys and wherefores ::) ::)

Perhaps you could tell us a little more about the wedding party -  bridesmaids - grand old man on left etc.

Thank you Sandy.

Thank you everybody for the efforts- great.  The bride and Groom are my grandparents. Best man is his brother George. The couple in front to the left are my great  grandparents and, we think - but are not too sure- that the old guy at the back with the bushy white beard is my great-great Grandfather. Grandad (the groom) had 4 sisters and 4 brothers. The two bridesmaids at the front are - again we think!- his sisters. The lad immediately behind the groom is one of his brothers and the lad right at the back to the right is another brother. Photograph taken 4th April 1904. This may answer one of the queries posted by Emmeline.
The family are still working it all out!

PS. My gremlins are still around - to do with software corruption somewhere I'm told
