Title: 1891 look up Yorkshire; Scott

Alice Scott    56yrs b.Earby
Mary Scott    27yrs b.Halifax
George Scott 25yrs b.Halifax
Annie Scott    23yrs b.Halifax
Emily Scott     21yrs b.Halifax
Azubah Scott  17yrs b.Halifax
Walter Scott   15yrs b.Halifax

They were in Todmorden in 1881, Jabez died in Todmorden 1893, Alice was still in Todmorden 1901 but I can't find them in Todmorden in 1891. HELP!

I've found a Jabez Scott on the 1861 census, living in Northowram. He was listed as living on his own, but married, age 27, as a stone mason, born Northowram.

There are a family of Scotts living next door, the head being a widower, Mary Scott, age 65.

It certainly sounds like my lot who came from Ambler Thorn / Northowram. Jabez mother was a Mary.

Do you have any more details to hand? I'd be pleased to receive them.

I have just been taking a short break from my research but hope to resume soon (school holidays and all that!)
