John Cormode was the sixth child born to William Cormode and Jane Tear of Ballabirragh in Andreas. They had ten children -- only two are known to have died in infancy.
John's other seven siblings all grew to adulthood, married and raised families. Those seven stories I have known for nearly fifty years, but John's story has always been a blank.
John's older sister, Ann, and a brother Daniel moved to Wisconsin. A brother William moved to Kansas. Three sisters remained on IOM; however, children of two of those sisters did move to the United States. The younger brother, Thomas Edward Cormode, remained on Ballabirragh until about the end of the 19th century.
I'm still looking for the rest of the story on this John Cormode.

I'm looking for any information you may have on Ann Cormode. She was married to my ancestor Daniel Brew and settled in Wisconsin. I still have relatives living in Wisconsin Dells to this day.

I know the family of Ann Cormode Brew -- she was a sister to my great-grandfather. I have three generations of ancestors for her. I am missing her Cormode grandmother.
