Hi
I'm on the trail of a Richard Ridyard, born about 1829. His place of birth is given as Middlesex in all the census returns I've found him in, despite him marrying in Northamptonshire and bringing up his children there.
I would love it if anyone was able to track his baptism/birth down for me, as I'm having difficulty finding anything.
Thanks!

Hi
Do you still need this?
25th May 1828, St George the Martyr, Queen Square, Middlesex
Richard son of Thomas & Elizabeth RIDYARD of Eagle Street; father's occ: tailor
Also baptised that day to the same parents:
Thomas; note: said to be born 18th Nov 1825
Elizabeth; note: said to be born 14th Sept 1823
Kind regards
Gaie

Hi,
Remembering the rounding down of ages, this looks possible for the family in 1841,
1841 HO107/625/7 f.40 p.28 St George, Lincolnshire
Borough of Stamford
Gas Lane
Elizabeth RIDYARD 50
Robert " 20 Silk ph?? Weaver
Mary " 15
Elizabeth " 15
Thomas RIDYARD 15
Richard " 15
Stamford is only about 23 miles from Kettering, Northamptonshire, where Richard later married and lived.
Regards
Daisy

Hello!
What a pleasent surprise to find this thread had been updated! I've been taking a break from the family as of late, but it's really wonderful of you to look up the baptism for me! Very much appreciated. Thank you Gaie!
DaisyPetal - yes I had attributed that census entry to the family myself but always good to get a second opinion.
