Title: Stalag XXA
Post by: Archivist_47 on Thursday 03 May 07 08:30 BST (UK)
A friend's son has given me some info on his granfather - Cyril Newall (The Buffs), served in India, Burma and was captured at Dunkirk and ended up in Stalag XXA (Nr 5410). Can anyone throw any light on his service record from this scant info?

The Report was made in his own hand so I wouldn't think there is anything more about unless you could check with the Veterens Agency for a copy of his German records.

Have a report on BAB 20 which I believe moved to 344 after the Camp had been evacuated in January 1945.
