Its fairly recent so she may well have lived on the base in married quarters with him. I think you would need his service number to find out any more and permission from his next of kin to view records. There is a site on Ceefax or somewhere that helps people find old service pals. You could put a message on there to see if anyone remembers him. Good luck!

I need help on finding William Lelliott who was a seaman on coastal vessels up and down the N.S.W.coast between 1865 and 1900 he got his Master,Coast Service ticket 28th June 1872 he was born in Sussex England 1841
I have not been able to find a site where there is a crew list for coastal vessels
I am led to believe he took supplies up to the Tweed and took timber back to Sydney.
           Hope someone can help

Hello Kimmy
I see you are new so welcome to rootschat. Can i just advise you that you needed to start you own topic (new Topic) with your own request. If it isn't related to the one you post on,so you might not get any replies.Because the topic was started by another member.I am not sure if it should be on the Australian board or the armed forces because he was a Marina. The moderator might help ;)

Hello Nina
I agree with Liverpool lass you will be unable to obtain records from the royal Navy on such ,in geneology terms recent records.Unless the people you seek are deceased. If you are the child or grandchild of the person then you might be able to.I think you have to prove it though i cant remember. You will only get his Naval records not where he was based or if his wife was on the base with him.

Hope this helps
Celia
