Title: Catherine Condron
Post by: chester on Wednesday 02 May 07 13:32 BST (UK)
I'm trying to research Catherine Condron born 1815 who was caught stealing and sentenced at Dublin on 19/6/1832 to 7 years in Australia. Catherine was a catholic and born in the county of Cavan. I'm not sure if the name Condron is a common name in these parts.
Many thanks
Chester

Hello Chester,

If Griffith's Valuation for Cavan in 1856-7 is an indication then Condron was not a common name in Cavan ... there's only one listed.

John Condron,  Ballaghdorragh, Munterconnaught. Cavan
