Title: 1861 and 1871 Census John Patten
Post by: If Only on Tuesday 01 May 07 16:28 BST (UK)
Hi all,

Would appreciate a lookup for John Patten born Bocking, Essex c. 1834 and still there in the 1851 census with his parents.

I believe that John married (elizabeth?) in the 1850s and moved to the London area.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Joe

William George Patten Son 4 Scholar Kent Woolwich
Robert Jno Patten Son 2 London

Edmund Patten Brother 22 Bootmaker Amersham Common (Bucks- this has been written in later)

And possibly in 1871 again in Finsbury at 22 Paradise Street:

John Patten 37 Head Carman Essex Braintree
Robert Jno Patten 12 Son Scholar Middlesex St Luke's

John in showing up as being widdowed in this census.
