Title: Nash
Post by: .k. on Monday 23 April 07 04:54 BST (UK)
Hi,
My Grandmother's name was Jemmia/Jemima Mainwaring Nash. she was born to a John Bance Nash(sorry dont have her mothers name) approx.1885 in/and lived in Yea, Victoria.
I am looking for a family connection to the Mainwaring family in Stafordshire England.

Much appreciated,

S.K.

Jemima was born to John Bance Nash and Jane Jeffrey in 1888. It is possible your Mainwaring connection could be, say, Jane's mother or John's mother?

See same website as above for purchasing certificates/images. Images can be downloaded immediately.  These could have useful info.

S.K.

I am not really sure how this chat system works.  I saw your post and registered as a user so that I might contact you.

I have sent one post but don't know whether you will receive it.  I will try this personal post and see where it gets me.

There is a Mainwarring Nash connection through the marriage of Richard Nash (of Walberton, Sassex) and Jemima Mainwarring of Whitmore Hall.

We also seem to have a family connection through  also a family connection through Frederick George Nash of Yea, brother of your Jemima Mainwarring.

I have a bit of information on the Nash side that might interest you.  A property at Murrindindi was and is named Walberton after the manor of that name in Sussex.

Perhaps you can suggest how I can get more detailed information to you.
