Hi Jenn

I have a gg grandfather from Ireland who gave 2 different counties as his place of birth on 2 different documents.  (no towns - just counties) I keep thinking maybe he didn't come from Ireland at all. My other Irish man said he was born in Wexford (the town or the county - who knows). They didn't give much away when they started a new life in Oz.

Zander's information looks much like what I found on a marriage certificate for my folks

Hi Zander

As promised, I had a word with our Rector, but he is not aware of anyone in the family called Hugh.

Sorry.  Obviously if he does come up with anything, I'll let you know.

Regards

Christine

I spoke to Malcolm Acheson who told me that his ancestors come from Portadown and Castle Caulfield which is near Dungannon.
