Hi I'm looking for the death of William Warralls /Worrall / Worallow (sorry i have seen it written many ways) when his son was christened in 1825 he was in park st walsall and was a Plater he had died by the 1841 census i might have found a remarriage for his wife in 1829 not 100%
any help i would be most grateful

he was christened in St Matthew's walsall i think that was where he also married
some other spelling of the name i have found
Warrall/Warrilow/Warlow/Warrallo/Worrallo

Sorry i have got no where with with the death or family of William his son Thomas was my Husbands gt gt grandfather between the 1861 and 1871 census change the last name of the family to Kendall ???

Thanks anyway Donna, I only know his first name so any info is a bonus. I'm a Worrall and the Kendall mystery really bugs me. If you need any recent stuff let me know, I've got a bit but you probaby know all that.

my husbands great grandfather was Samuel born 1859 he used the name Kendall in some census but went back to the name Worrall
i think William Warralls married Eliza Chant 19 may 1823 St Matthews Walsall
and i found this marriage
27 dec 1829 st peters wolverhampton
Joseph Kendall
Eliza Warrallow
in 1841 they are in wednesbury with there children and a 15 year old Thomas Warner? could this be our Thomas?

You could have something there. It looks like Thomas the stepson could have taken his Mom's name and then went back to his Dad's name when it suited. Maybe when I get some spare time I'll look more into it.
I never knew any of the kids took on the Kendall name, my G Grandad (also Thomas) was always a Worrall of some sort of spelling.

Just a quickie for your husband. A lady who thinks she shares our GG Grandad (older Thomas) has got in touch. I'm hoping she might have some ideas.
