Title: 1851 - St Georges in the East
Post by: lizziec on Tuesday 30 November 04 13:29 GMT (UK)
I've been told that there are some Kislers in the 1851 census at
ref HO 107/1547 folio 79

I'm hoping that there might be a Jacob or Elizabeth (son aged 18ish and mother aged 51) here - but the name is rare in this spelling, so anyone else might be a relative...

Thanks in advance

Liz

Here you go.  Although the enumerator has written daughter for Catherine DITTMAR, I should imagine she is a grandaughter.

Rick.

Wow!

It must be them - my great uncle's notes said that he thought Jacob's father, John had died in 1847 - It looks as if he was right to put a question mark against this! And Jacob had a sister that I have not heard about! Lots more to investigate....

Thank you so much!
