HI Lilac,
You have git me quite excited.
Sarah Humphries and Edward Arthur had 3 children
Isaac 1870
Harry 1875
Sarah 1876
Sarah 1876 is my grandmother
I cannot find any of the family on the 1881 census
but on the 1891 census Edward has a new wife Mary Ann
This tallies with a photo i have with Sarah on her 21 st with her father and stepmother.
Sarah married Albert Stoppard in 1903
Isaac married Mary Ann Quarry in 1894 and had 3 children Flossie , Bertie and Frankie
Harry married ? i do not know who, but he had one child that i know of called Cath and this is where the excitement starts , she married a William Yates (Bill) they had no children, could this be a missing link.
Harry must have married after the 1901 census because he was still living with his parents at that time
Hope this sheds some light , wouldnt it be grand to start the new year with a new family member traced
Happy new year

Hi!
I expect you've already seen this on the 1881 census, but I
thought I would mention it in case you hadn't and there was
a connection to your Edward.

Hello Lilac,
Henry Humphries 1831 was my GtGt grandfather . I descend through Henry junior. I have quite a lot of interesting information about the family including the fact that your Grandfather William was involved as a main
witness to a disaster at The Cadeby Colliery in South Yorkshire in 1912 when 91 men lost their lives. I can supply
you with much more if you are on the site
Regards Bobold.
