Title: Thomas Ivory 12-2-1899. Born in Coolatrindle, Co Wexford, but moved to Tipperary
Post by: Marion B on Monday 26 March 07 23:00 BST (UK)
Hello.

Just looking for some info on the family of Thomas. He would have been my great uncle on my granny Mary Ivory's side. He also had two brothers: Patrick and William.

I believe Thomas went to Tipperary and had a family and I'd love to find out more about the Ivorys as I know nothing about them.

Any info gratefully received.

Marion,

There is a good chance that your Thomas had relatives in Tipperary before he went there.

According to Griffiths Valuation c.1855 all the Ivorys living in Tipp. were in the same parish of Clonbeg in Tipperary South Riding.

Might be a good place to start looking.
