I have just been reading an article about Bobbie Heatley in Belfast. http://www.irishdemocrat.co.uk/features/bobbie-heatley-1934-2004 That article interested me as mention was made of the New Lodge Road in Belfast. I looked in Griffiths Valuation of Ireland. The Valuation took in Co. Antrim in 1861-2. I found a John Heatley living in the New Lodge Road area in the Valuation. Do you know if the Heatley family had connections in the north of Ireland as the links between this part of the world and Scotland are very strong. http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php
