Title: Please restore my baby
Post by: Su on Monday 19 March 07 14:23 GMT (UK)
Hi everyone,
I would be very grateful if someone could restore this photo of my little girl for me.

If someone fancied giving it a bit of colour too, her little dress is a pale blue.

I would be much obliged, as I am putting together a photo album for her birthday.

Many thanks
Su

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'd just like to thank all of you sooooooo much, you have all made such a wonderful job of restoring the photo of my daughter.

You will laugh when I tell you that the photo was taken 39 years ago this coming July !!! I'm sure any 'cuddles' will be very welcome, especially at the moment.

She was born with a mop of jet black hair and her eyes a gorgeous brown (just like her Mother's  ;))

She is a beautiful girl in every sense of the word.

Tomkin, thank you for the colour version it is spot on.  The dress is the exact colour...what a good long term memory I have considering I can't remember what I did this morning  ;D

Thank you once again, I'm dying to see her face when she see's it, together with other baby photo's she has never seen.

Love to everyone
Su xxxxx

What fascinating ideas Cazza...I like the cobweb (come into my parlour said the spider to the fly ;D) and the rose, very lovely. Well she is my rose.

They are all so lovely in their own way.  I never thought for one minute when I asked Lones to put the picture up for me that all this would happen.

I'll have to find a blank wall somewhere and cover it with them all, as they are all equally beautiful.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to do this.  It's cheered me up after an extremely traumatic two and a half months.

Many thanks once again
Love

That is simply gorgeous, thank you so much, I shall definitely give her that on her birthday.

I daren't tell her about it.  I hope nobody who knows her sees it and tells her about it before I get the chance to show her the photo's  ;D

Actually she has a super sense of humour, so will (I hope) think the same as me, that they are all brillient.

Thank you everyone for all the trouble you have taken over this.

I was wondering...er...if I put a photo of Mum up (whom my daughter adores), and one of me (if I can find one I like...a younger version naturally  ;D) would it be possible to combine all three..so we have three generations?  That would be super.

Rightie ho!  I will attempt to put up two photo's.  The first one is my Mum as a little girl.  Will it be possible to single her out.  Then the next one is of me.

So would it be possible to put Mum, me then my daughter as a baby on the same picture?

What am I saying?  Of course you can  ;D

I'm in tears here....I don't know what to say...well I do, no I don't, words aren't enough....

They are all without exception, simply lovely.

Lones...I wont be choosing Any to put in the Album, they are ALL going in...Every version is different and wonderful.  Thank you for the baby one, it's gorgeous.  I can't make Mum and bigger as the picture itself is off a picture (if you know what I mean...not the original), and anyway I love it that way, thank you my friend.

Tomkin,
I just love the stamps.. I shall certainly be using them..one or two people will be getting a surprise when they next receive a letter from me  ;D What a lovely comment...you are right..she is priceless.

Carol, many thanks for your lovely picture too, it's so good of you to take the time.

Jim, Gaudy?  What do you mean?  They are simply super, I am thrilled to bits with each and every one.

All this from beginning with one slightly torn photo...what a lucky woman I am to have such a wonderful second family...my Rootschat friends

Lots of Love and hugs

Well, what can I say Tomkin, it's just absolutely gorgeous.  Can you make the real thing now  ;D ;D ;D

Soooooo clever.  I've nearly run out of ink printing them all off A4 size.  Most are already in a lovely album (the one with the tissue paper to cover the pictures).  I have printed them off on a pearlised thin card, and they look fantastic.  Julie will be speechless (for once in her life)  ;D

I have also enlarged some photo's of her from tot through school years to teenage years (when she was a real eye-catcher - I know I am her Mother I would think that).  So it's a bit of a This is your Life book.

Thanks once again to everyone who has contributed such beautiful reproductions for me.

You have made me one very happy bunny  :D

Just so you can see how much hair she had when she was born....

Hi Su,

Quick colour. If you print it then don't print it
larger than it is. due to the low resolution it won't print any larger
 without " breaking up"

             Tomkin ;D ;D ;D

Aw Tomkin, that is really beautiful.  I didn't put it up to be restored or anything, just so you all could see how much hair she had as a baby, but thank you very much for that...what do you mean, 'if' I print it up...course it will be   ;D

Pete
Thank you very much, it is lovely.

I never expected all this attention to the photograph.
It really has been super of everyone concerned to take so much of their precious time doing all this for me.

Thank you once again.  Another one for the album,
Good job it has got a lot of pages in it  ;D

Love
Su xxx
