There's also a few children for them on Familysearch. Note: they are all transcribed as Thoburn.

David (b. 1866), Isabella (b. 1862), Mary Anne (b. 1860), Jessie (b. 1869), Christina (b. 1871), Margaret (b. 1873), Mary McCallum (b. 1864)

You can get George and Isabella's marriage certificate from ScotlandsPeople. It's £6 for 30 credits but it will only cost 6 credits for one search and view of the certificate. It works out reasonable as it will give you both sets of parents and ages.  :)

As for the hotel in Balloch, could it be the Tullie Inn, built 1895?  :)

It is deffinitely Tullie then continues newan or hewan, so could be the same place sounding a bit more posh.

There's a brother to George showing. David Thoburn, born 24th February 1840 in Bonhill. Their parents married in 1833; registered both at Cardross and at Bonhill.

There's also two submitted entries for an Isabella McDonald, born Cardross in 1840. But to a James McDonald and Christian McLean.  ???
