Hi All
I was wondering if someone can check to see whether my ggfather had any children to May Pearce?
Walter Henry Good - 27 Mar 1867 married May Pearce 5 June 1889. Ipswich Qld.
This would of been between 1889 and 1904 as he actually had children to Constance May Pershouse from 1904.
There is no clarification in the family as to whether Walter and Constance were married.

Amy Maud GOOD born 24 Dec 1889
died 28 July 1898 (doublechecked that, 1898)
father recorded as Walt Henry
mother as Mary PEARCE/PIERCE
not other children sighted, nor death for May/Mary, nor marriage for Walter & Constance. Cd only goes to 1914.

Died: 3 Apr 1913/B017404.
Father: George Henry Pearce.
Mother: Sarah Hughes.

oops, ozybob I didn't see that ::)
I must remember to read the whole entry - I am too used to skimming my eye down only the first name in the father's entry, which is the surname in the Vic indexes.
Jewellery, Constance and Walter may have married after Mary's death. Marriage indexes after 1914 are on microfiche. I know that they are available because a kind soul retrieved a reg number for a 1926 one so I could buy the certificate.

I look at marriage from1853 to 1920 and from 1921 to 1942 nil on Walter and Constance there.

Hmm the plot thickens? wonders whether they were divorced or he simply left??
As you can imagaine the kids That belonged to Constance were born from 1904 to 1910 so....... was she his mistress??? lol....
He was a Horse Trainer apparently... think i will have to get the birth and death certificates to clarify it all.

That could be why she wasnt listed in the qld index.

No she died in Queensland - I had a look when Ozybob posted that entry to see why I missed it ;D
This one - B = Brisbane area

He searched the marriages for Victoria, so at least you know it was not there. I just pickedup on the dates given for the records, sounded like Victoria.
