hi,
I'm looking for a birth for William Beasley born about 1795 in Lancashire. No other info known except he married Mary Wakefield.

As his marriage was in Chesterton Oxfordshire in 1806 his birth  would have been earlier than 1795. Your next step should be to check Chesterton parish register microfilm which you can do at your nearest Family History Centre of the LDS (list on www.familysearch.org) to see if a parish of residence was shown, and to see if the witnesses provide any clues. Otherwise you have nothing to link a William baptised in Lancs with William married in Oxon.

If You are Sure that William was Born in Lancashire, then maybe You have miss-typed or miss-recorded His Birth Year?

There are 12 'William BEASLEYs' listed on familysearch.org as being Born/Christened in Lancashire between 1885-1895!
