hey
I have recently just started my family tree and noticed that you were searching for information on alexander mc atamney and bridget condit.
I think these are my great great grandparents.
alexander and bridget had a son called eddiejoe mc atamney (my great grandfather)whose son is my grandad.
As I say i have only started my journey into uncovering my family tree, if you have any other information in regards to the mc atamneys or magees it would be great to hear from you.
yours sincerly
maria mc atamney

I was only able to send you the one PM (Personal Message) because you need to  make two more post/reply messages so you can send me a PM and I can reply.  Just post a reply message here acknowledging if the McAtamney family in the 1901 Census is the one you are looking for.

1901 Census – 38 Marine Street, Belfast, and not 38 Marino Street, Belfast, as transcribed on the website below.

Just post a reply message here acknowledging if the McAtamney family in the 1911 Census is the one you are looking for.

1911 Census 56 Fleet Street, Belfast, not 31 Fleet Street, as that is the numerators numbering system.

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Antrim/Dock_Ward__Belfast_Clifton_/Fleet_Street/131624/

Catherine Condit married John O’Dwyer on 4 May 1887.    In the 1901 Census Catherine was living with her husband and children Mary Ann and Catherine at 60 Fleet Street, in the same house as her brother Bernard and his wife Margaret (surname spelt Conditt on census) and their children.   Bernard Conditt, 39, fireman – S. Ship, was on a ship at Abercorn Quay, Co Down.

Re 1901 & 1911 Census children born and still alive.

From Ireland Civil Registration Indexes for Birth and Death:

Edward Joseph M'Atamney, birth registered 1887 Sept qtr, death registered 1906 June qtr, registration dist: Belfast
Rosina M'Atamney, birth registered 1891 Sept qtr, death registered 1907 June qtr, registered dist; Belfast
Bridget M'Atamney, birth registered 1897 June qtr, registered dist: Belfast; for some reason I have not been able to find a dead index registered for her and searched under various spellings, McAtamney, McAtaminey, McTamny to name just a few.

John Alexander M'Atamney, birth registered 1889 Sept qtr, registration district; Belfast

Unless the information requested is about living people, there is no need for Rootschatters to send information on the personal message system.
If there is info to share, please post it openly so that we can all see what is known or has been found, others will then be happier to contribute and may have further things to add. Some chatters may be put off if they think it has all been done already, behind the scenes.
Please note that many people find the site using internet search engines and if the details aren't posted, you might miss out on potential links/ relatives.
