Can anyone find out any more about my ancestors the Arnsbys? Liz Arnsby has found them for me living in Oakham, Rutland sometimes classed as Oakham, Leics. If anyone knows anything that's missing I'd be very grateful. I know the family from Rhoda's marriage to John Watchorn onwards, I just haven't been able to find anything else about the Oakham Arnsby's.
John Arnsby married Mary Palmer 30/1/1755 Oakham
John Arnsby born 12/9/1757 Oakham
John Arnsby 1st marriage Elizabeth Brewster 7/5/1780
John Arnsby 2nd marriage Mary Tinson 14/2/1785 Oakham
Elizabeth Arnsby Bapt 29/12/1785
Catherine Arnsby Bapt 22/9/1787 died 22/10/1787
Rhoda Arnsby Bapt 3/3/1789
Phebe Arnsby Bapt 13/3/1790

My 4xgreatgrandfather William Cunnington married Anne Arnesby at Benefield 22/12/1772. She was born C.1741. She died 1/1794 at Benefield and was bured 8/1/1794 at Benefield, Northamptonshire. Do you know who her parents were.

Hi Scott
I think there were two families originally one based in Rutland/Leics and the other in Northamptonshire, yours is the Northamptonshire one mine the other, the good news for you is that there is a very good Arnsby website with info on your side of the family, unfortunately there's not a lot of info to be found on mine. I'm sure somewhere down the line our families must be related.
Having trouble getting on familysearch to check the IGI on there to see if I can see your Anne. Do you have the Hugh Wallis IGI links if not it's a great way to find info on records pre BMD 1837, here's the link if you haven't got it already.
