Is anyone out there researching Kneeshaw family from North Bierley/Moorside/Hunslet
who ended up in Canada in the early 1900s
Thanks.

I absolutely am! My grandmother was Emma Kneeshaw, dob Jan 24, 1870 on Jack Lane, Hunslet, Yorkshire, England. She married my grandfather, David George Swales on August 12, 1889.
I have info on lots of Kneeshaws. I have been trying to connect some Kneeshaws to each other, but so far unsuccessfully. Some that I know I'm related to, but don't how are Muriel, Marion, Elsie, Milton and Maida. I have some photographs of some of them with my Swales Aunts in Canada (where I was born).
I would love to share information with you!

I am looking for any information on the Kneeshaw family.I have a Margaret Kneeshaw, born 1810 in Stokesley, Yorkshire, England. Her father was Thomas, possibly born 25 Feb 1782 in Pickering. Margaret Kneeshaw married John Pearson on 27 Sept 1837. I believe Thomas Kneeshaw was married to Susannah, maiden name unknown. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

I have only just noticed the above reply .. wishing you a very warm welcome to RootsChat and an extremely Happy Christmas .. !
It might be an idea to post your query on the North Riding of Yorkshire Board .. this is the area for Stokesley and Pickering, someone may be able to help .. ?
Kindest regards,
