Title: McKeddie, Munro, Smail of Avoch

Looking for any information on Munros of Knockbain, in Avoch. Isabella Munro married Robert Smail in 1863, he worked at Geddes tweed mill. Chn possibly buried in Avoch. Also McKeddie family of Avoch. George McKeddie married Isabella Corner 1847 in Avoch then moved to Australia.

janet born 1850
george born 31/10/1851
henrietta born 4/12/1853
john born 11/11/1855

all born avoch

christina born 1861 victoria aus
eliza born 1863 victoria aus

isabella died 11/4/1914
janet died 22/10/1936
george died 6/4/1927
henrietta died 1/12/1924
john died 20/2/1936
christina died 1861
eliza died 1865

research says that isabella corner was the daughter of john corner and isabella aird, and she was born 17/6/1824.

isabella aird married john corner 8/6/1815 and was the daughter of james aird and christian sutherland. isabella aird/corner died 10/3/1846

hi pal, now i see your link between the munro's and the mckeddie's.

isabella munro married robert smail on the 26/6/1863, robert was the son of james smail and margaret walker while isabella was the daughter of alexander munro and christian mckeddie.

isabella munro was born 11/5/1840 avoch.

james smail and margaret walker married 1/4/1831 in jedburgh

alexander munro and christian mckeddie married 25/12/1835 in avoch

christian mckeddie was born 23/2/1814 and was the daughter of george mckeddie and janet bain.

janet bain and george where married rosemarkie on the 3/4/1813.

another line you may want to pursue is that of alexander munro who was the vbrother of your isabella, he was born 21/9/1836 or the sister of christian who was janet mckeddie born 1819 avoch

 hi can i please get any information that you have on George McKeddie who  married Isabella Corner 1847 in Avoch then moved to Australia. as that is all the information i have on him and his birthday which i think is right 6/1/1826...
