Have you checked and posted Your surnames in the surname interests table?

The link is via "Your Surname Interests" at the foot of every page.

Dear Chubbler

I've done quite a bit of research into my Pugh and Williams family of Dolgellau. Can you provide Christian names for us to compare?

Hello Eleri,
I have a Jane Pugh b 1851c, siblings were Dorothy, Eleanor, John and Robert, father was William Pugh and mother Jane, nee Williams.

They were born as far as I know in   Llanfihangel y Traethau Merionethshire.
Jane married a Thomas Owens b same place.

It would be great to find someone with a connection to even a distant part of any of these names.

Thanks for taking the time to reply

Regards Teresa

Dear Teresa
Sorry I took so long to answer.

My Williams family lived on the Arthog road out of Dolgellau. My Mary Williams married Owen Pugh from Llanfihangel y Pennant, MER. The Williams' were, Robert, Edward, Jane, Hugh and Mary.
It doesn't look as if we're related I'm afraid
There's a pity.
